I saw this little fella today nesting in our Garden. It`s a woodpecker. Its been there very still for the last few days I reckon laying eggs and quietly humming to itself. I wonder how long it takes before the little woody bambinos appear!.I`ll keep you posted.

I have been working on a new set of prints today which look fabolous. I`m off to two galleries tomorow to see if they like them. These are my best prints yet whith great quality with my new software.Here is one of them

Newlyn Sardines

I have to go to Bristol tomorow and it`s a 4 hr drive each way. I will start painting again on Wednesday so it`ll be a few days before new work evolves.So here is a print of one of the pictures that came from the earlier pic. This so far has been my most popular Cornish Print

I`ve been working on this for 3 days now and finally finished its a lighter and more detailed version of an old favourite of mine Barcelonetta.

Have been away with the Family so a little hard to get started again. Sold two pictures and three Prints to a lovely couple which made the holiday even sweeter.This is Lorraine in happy mood .

Praa Sands

You can tell it`s half term when I don`t get any work done. Spent the afternoon on Praa Sands watching my son surf.

Montego Bay

Its such a wet day I thought I would post a nice piccy of Montego Bay. Lorraine and I went there when we first met .It was GORRRRRRRGEOUS.

Porthcurno

Spent the morning at an Easter Baptism ,very moving and the afternoon on Porthcurno beach which is between us and Lands End on the south side of the peninsula.Just above to the right of the cliff lies the Minack Theatre which is a theatre carved in stone . This is the spot were Telegraph cables were first laid accross the oceans to the Empire right under the sea in 1800 and something.The cables and still there to this day ( although a little rusty) right by the Lifeguard hut.Half the accents on the beach seemed to be German. We have a large German tourist count here also Americans and Londoners who seem to be rather touchy about the lack of service.!!I have prepared a 30x40 inch canvas as I am in the mood for a large one as the nun said to the vicar.I shall start preparing in fits and starts over the next couple of days.

Barcelona

We were in Barcelona last September. I`ve been before and went back to Barcelonetta which is the beach front area where the fishing quarter is.

The Scillonian is stranded in the Penzance Docks as the weather has changed for the worst. We went to the Scillies last year it was very quite and very beautiful .Were hoping to go again this year.
