Today was spent in the studio working on these large paintings..sometimes you just have to buckle up and get on with it. Hoping to get out for a paint tomorrow.

Hi. Yesterday I went to Swanpool in Falmouth, It was glorious. I took my new pochade with my oils and all the kit and it was a disaster. Naturally, I kept on going and did produce some work which I am not going to post. The words that come to mind are Prissie, Girlie and a faf with all that kit to set up. My kneck ached from reaching over and I was uncomfortably the whole time.
So . Today I went back. I was there at 8 am and it very quickly turned from know one there to `where did every one come from`
I took my acrylics this time.

I ll probably adjust some of this in the studio but here is the plein air untouched version.

All very fiddly now. I am getting there.. 

Marazion

I couldn`t resist going out and getting some practice in as it is the first sunny day in weeks .cold though. Actually froze my nuts off doing this and had to stop, come home and warm up.
Using a  limited palette on this which I found interesting as it makes you focus on how to mix colour. A but unexciting in content. But all good learning.

And with this limited palette I have started a bigger picture entirely from imagination
