Studio painting from my plein air sketches

So from all my recent adventures in Marazion I have started to do some studio work.All in oil .
It is impossible to get all the information when I am out there painting and I am not an impressionist.It is so so beautiful out there and  I can only do so much. I am formulating as I go to create new work in the studio that I find interesting and that excites me and that is what it`s about for me be fired up and looking forward to my next session. You need to re invent to discover more even when it gets boggy and your not sure.    This isn`t finished.Another couple of sessions.

Two unfinished pieces

 Just thought I would post these unfinished pieces. It`s really hard in this weather to keep going. Even this Barcelonetta painting is a struggle. Its the weather. Yech!  I've been out plein air painting three times now in the car with oil. one was a disaster but over all encouraging. So waiting for a break to get out there.

I went Plein car painting today oil on board and so glad I did. I have decided to keep up the plein air work weather permitting in the winter so when the summer comes I will be super match fit and it gives me some delight from my grim studio

Newlyn Plein Air

Well I`m sorry I have not posted anything in a while. I broke my camera and have only just managed to get it fixed thanks to E Bay. Thankyou E Bay xxx  So I went out Plein Air painting in December with oils . I need to go back and finish it which I shall do.
