I was looking through Google images for Alan Furneaux and found this.and realized I don`t have a photo copy that is of good quality so I thought I would have a day off and re produce it.  It`s about halfway done I would say. What do you think?

Crikey am I glad this is over. Nearly beat me the bugger. You just get bogged down with detail and structure. Had to make some drastic decisions and it all paid off .Just one more hour tomorrow to finish and I can move on.

Ive come back to this at the end of today and really been relishing the idea because it`s one of those that is interestingly different.. Not finished yet.........

Moving on from my last painting. I am using red oxide and trying to keep it muted except for the middle top to draw in the eye. So in musical terms it would all be a Bflat with a C ringing out at the top.

I just like very much  doing these.They are a real labour of love having to wait overnight to see what needs doing the following day and there is always something. It`s detail detail detail. and it pays off . Still a few days from completion I suspect.

Ive been steadily chipping away at this.

From my day at Mousehole I am able to start painting from that view. .In acrylic for this. and mixing everything with Paynes Grey to keep it from shouting at me.

God I just had so much fun at Marazion today and you know I turned round when i got there because it was misty but when i got back silly me i realised  it would burn off .So back i went and it was brilliant. I did 3 .and when i stopped all the boats had left and it went quite.All the tourists were there having a great time too and I loved it.
