Three Cats have come back from Simon the photographer. .

This is `Izzy`

Had to photo this in the studio as its raining outdoors so the colour is a little off . One more day on this should do it. This is IZZY the cat at St Ives

And yes another Cat. This time St Ives in the background. Day 2 on this. Much lighter blues and greys.

I am not  happy sending this out until I am happy with the face so I have been working on that all morning putting in and scrubbing out and as you can see added the checkered pattern.  
   Its progressing shall we say!

Oh I am so pleased with this. little 10x8 inch oil

I`ve had to change the face on this cat as it looked to much like a small rat. So today after working on the previous cat picture took the plunge and have stated reshaping the face.

Working specifically for Paul and Joe at Market House Gallery in Marazion. This really is a great little gallery with top class work.Dare I say it!

Day 2 on this little oil.

Changed it a bit . I think she`s done now and I can move on...

I think I am getting a little better at these cats. She needs whiskers and a bit of work here and there..

Well this is dread full painting. Been on this for two days and just cant get it right. My drawing is terrible . I suppose after a run of good work I should not complain. The trials of being a painter eh!  I`ll keep on with this cause that's how it works...

Its coming along.Its a little 12 x9 inch oil on board.. I glazed over it to bring the colours together and get rid off any white I used different glazes for different areas. Then I re worked and this really works a treat. It takes time to do this because it has to dry between sessions but it`s worth the wait..
