Ok so I am back in the studio and picking up where I left off. This is hard. I`m not sure how to do the tree as the colours were much lighter when I was there sketching it. And the foreground colours confuse me. I`ll probably have to get out and sketch again thats the only way to understand.

Spending the day packing these up to go to Blackheath Gallery in London. Once that is done I can get back to where I left off. Cornish Landscape.....

I have had a bit of a quite period after so much hard work in the Winter and spring. I have been writing music . I also found this little watercolour I did of my friend Steve Nicol years ago when I first started painting.

The Olympic torch has just passed our house . How exciting!! I`ve never seen so many neighbours.

Just when I was ready to go out and do more landscape Blackheath Gallery ask me for 6 paintings for the 1st June. . So hands to the deck. I`ll be sending the last Ladscape and they also want a London painting which I have been doing battle with the last couple of days. Nearly done.

Sorry I havn`t posted recently I come to a bit of a stop after so much hard work . Also I have been writing songs and playing in the Church band. Here we are at Gwenap Pit. with a male voice choir and about 100 people in this odd audatorium type greek style grass pit in the hills of Cornwall  that John Wesley  preached at when he was alive.. People would walk all the way from Plymouth just to her him preach. which must be 50 miles away. It was a glorious sunny day and was great fun. Thats me on lead guitar with the white hat on.

Also I have painted a new 40x40inch  landscape.

Well Ive come back from a very long break. Been for a walk over Godrevy and painted this this morning. It isn`t naive is it.??  Maybe! Maybe not?  I still like it.....
