At Last! I have been able to get into the studio. This simple 20x24 inch still life of my sketches of Alderburgh are a good start

Still Life

Hi All. Its very cold in my studio right now and the acrylic will not dry so I have moved ointo oils which is something I often do when the winter comes. Working on a still life to get the juices going.

Sorry if you liked the last one but I just had to change it .Still chipping away at it.Instead of mixing with Paynes Grey to get my darks or Umber and Ultramarine I am using Black from the tube.

In play mode again

Taking a brush for a walk. As I really dont know what to do next or where I left off I`m just playing till it happens. Started this this afternoon.

Just managed to squeeze one more in before the weekend. I`ll finish this in one more session. I love these because thet are simple strong and direct.

Mousehole

Well I managed to get some out door painting in today. The only place that was sheltered from a very gusty wind was Mousehole. These images may not look much but they are very valuable information for me when the winter comes  and I`ll be stuck for what to paint.
