Just started on these two Cats

I think this is done.....

Its coming along nicely. Just put it on one of my walls and it looks really nice. Cant wait to get it finished and framed. Just needs something else>? 

Ok this is now finished and I can get back to my Beach painting.. 

While Alana and Lorraine went off to see Beyonce in London I have been in the studio and tinkering. I don't have my working togs on so there is a feeling I`m not really clocking in . I think the ice cream seller should have a red parasol...... It doesn`t have the oodles of fun as the last one . It seems to be a more relaxed day

I painted a picture similar to this 2 years ago and went over it. Every time I see it on my computer I go NO what did I do that. So I am re doing it as I want her back..  Day 2

Nearly done. just got the girl (Alana) and the pushchair to finish. Lorraine asked me to give her a slimmer waist too! I`ve really enjoyed this. 

Just found this super  little oil on board behind  a pile of canvasses in my studio and rescued it. 16 x 24 inch. Very loose but charming I think..

Took a beaut Sunflowers painting down to the Auctioneers today and got on with this one. Have to leave it to dry before I start again. 

I do love painting Sunflowers. Here I am thinking " Is that right"..." Yeh! " That`ll do Al...............

Well. Big mistake with the Cyprus trees being Pthalo Green so I`ll wait for them to dry and go over them. Other than that just need to work on the middle of the sunflowers and that should be it .

20 x 22 inch Oil on Canvas

I have just taken the Italian trees out of the foreground of this picture . I`ve had it in my studio for a few days and they were bothering me as they draw the eye down Having taken them out I am elated. It can breath. I think this is one of the best paintings I have ever painted.Just the shear joy of the sumptuous red and orange oil paint on the canvas.

I have been quietly working on two of these Sunflowers in thew background. This is nearly finished ,another couple of days should do it. This one is a commission for Russ and the other is for Auction.
