I got the idea for this painting going to the St Ives Folk Club. Watching Andy Bunce playing his amazing guitar work and the two little dots at the end of his guitar just intrigued me.

Made three starts today all still lifes..Trying to keep it simple .All oil on canvas.

Nearly finished. 

I guess you could only describe this start as a painting break.It just occurred to me that I have done so much work recently even working weekends I might be simply exhausted.

Plymouth Hoe

Been working all day yesterday and today,Saturday just this get this finished for the ABNA show. Its 4pm now just finished. Phew.. a beer I think....

 

Finished and sent to framers. It will go in a darkish mohogany wood frame with a little dark gold slip and will look the biz. See i have darkened the buildings at the bottom so the eye travels up .
